Operating Procedure

1. Hold the HP Analog Durometer firmly and press it vertically onto the specimen until the circular presser foot fully contacts the surface. Take the reading after 3 seconds.
2. Follow standard-recommended room temperature and contact pressure, recording these parameters.
3. Avoid tilting or moving the durometer during measurement. For non-homogenous materials, extend measuring time to 15 seconds.
4. Ensure the presser foot remains parallel to the specimen for reliable results.
